About me

Andrew Kong, senior from Lawrence, Kan., is majoring in journalism with an emphasis in strategic communications and a minor in percussion performance. In his spare time, he teaches private percussion lessons to a small studio consisting of students from the Lawrence area. In 2008, Kong founded KU Percussion Club, and he currently serves as the PR Director for Students for KU (formerly known as KU’s Student Philanthropy Committee). He also serves on the Communications Committee with Lawrence Habitat for Humanity.
